Prospective employees are required to undergo drug and alcohol testing per the law. It is the employer's responsibility to make sure they don't employ people who fail the drug and alcohol testing requirements. Employers should make sure they are in compliance with this law because they would want to make sure their business is not put in peril. Drug or alcohol-addicted people can only be problematic in a working environment. Employers obviously wouldn't want to face problems of such nature down the line.
